The Balearics comprise the four islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
Sandy beaches, Mediterranean climate and an excellent night life, coupled with excellent flight connections with mainland Europe, make the islands a popular Luxury crewed yacht charter destination. Lying off the Eastern coast of Spain, just 132 miles from Barcelona, the Islands attract a cosmopolitan ambience and varied culture. There’s something for everyone from secluded bays and quaint fishing harbours to smart seaside towns and modern marinas......

With up to 300 days of sunshine per year, there are rarely extremes of temperature; the winter average temperature is approximately 10ºC to 15ºC spring and autumn ranges from 15ºC to 25ºC while the summer is from 25º to 33º. The rainfall is low and usually arrives in heavy showers, often followed by the sunshine. apart from the occasional "Tramontana" or north wind the island enjoys light to moderate winds most days and frequent hot air currents in the summer months. Sea temperatures in the Mediterranean are between 14ºC in January and rises to about 30ºC in August, maintaining warm temperatures of around 24ºC well into late October.

Palma CathedralThe capital Palma de Mallorca, where you are most likely to begin your luxury yacht charter and home to many of our Bareboat Sailig yachts & Catamarans, has an impressive old quarter, with narrow cobbled streets tree-lined boulevards and beautiful architecture. It is also home to the largest Cathedral in the world, which was completed in the 1600's. There are many varied shopping outlets, which mix designer brands with high-street brands and the traditional Mallorcan arts and craft. Nowhere is beyond walking distance here, and there are many squares in which you can sit in the cafes just to watch the world go by. If you love to people-watch (and maybe even do a bit of posing yourself), then one of a few excellent marinas, nestled in the bay of Palma, is the place to see and be seen.

The south-east coast of Mallorca is generally considered the most scenic part for its sculptured rock formations and beautiful secluded bays, every few hundred meters along the coast between Pollensa and Colonia St. Jordi. Also, there are many marine and nature conservation areas to explore along this coast including - Cala Mondrago, Isla Cabrera, Ses Salines, Cala Figuera, Cuevas de Drach, Cala Santanyi, Porto Colom, Porto Cristo, Cala Ratjada, Cala Gran, Portopetro.

A visit to the nature reserve Island of Cabrera, just of the coast of Mallorca is a must. A permit is issued that allows you to moor for just 24hrs, but as there is nothing but peace, quiet and secluded little beaches, 24hrs is ample time for you to walk up to the lookout where a fantastic view and photo location awaits you.

Pollensa BayOn the North coast lies, Puerto Pollensa, a typical Mallorcan town and is a maze of narrow, winding streets. Each has a character of its own and all are worthy of exploration. Home to one of the most beautiful harbours on the island and also one of the deepest and most closed. The bay has sandy beaches and shallow turquoise waters which makes it popular with families.One of the most beautiful parts of Mallorca, this was the preferred destination for painters and artists at the beginning of the century. The landscape here is so diverse; steep mountains meet lonely shores with deep, blue waters. The green of the pine trees contrasts with the grey of the limestone rocks. Pollenca sits in the north eastern corner of the island, close to Formentor and Alcudi. just east of the town lies its port 'Port de Pollenca' or 'Porto Pollensa'.

A short cruise North - West of Mallorca lies Menorca, possibly the quietest island within the Balearics. If you are looking for white sandy beaches for sunbathing, swimming or watersports then visit Cala Galdana and Son Bou. The coastline of Minorca is varied and often stunningly beautiful and natural. The coves have turquoise water and the white virgin beaches. The landscape consists of low hills and woods and aromatic herbs and shrubs. Local villages dotted around the coastline provide restaurants with a warm and welcome Menorcan atmosphere, along with some of the finest local cuisine.


Luxury yacht charter IbizaIbiza, the third largest of the islands. The capital, Ibiza city, renowned for it's extravagant nightlife, attracts large numbers of tourists. Some of the worlds most famous discos are to be found hear along with plethora of bars, cafes and restaurants. The Dalt Vila, a souk-like walled city, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are plenty of beaches but in the summer months these get very crowded, so the perfect time to be aboard your luxury yacht !. In addition to some lovely anchorages there are several marinas on Ibiza; Marina Botafoch, Puerto Ibiza la Nueva, Puerto San Antonio-Abad, Puerto Santa Eulalia.

Formentera is the smallest of the Balearic Islands, located just off the south coast of Ibiza. Compared to the other islands Formentera is relatively underdeveloped with good beaches with powder white sand and clear blue waters. The best way to dicover Formentera is by yacht.

CABRERA is the largest of a small archipelago of Islands in the Balearics which are made up of Estells de Fora, L’Imperial, Illa de ses Bledes, Na Redona, Conillera, L’Esponja, Na Plana, Illot Pla, Na Pobra, and Na Foradada. It is a Spanish National park and is perfect for; snorkeling, hiking, visiting the museum and a 14th century castle.
